Polaris Cleated Track Build
Building a new track for the 72 Charger project.
Sandblasted Cleats, optional but talking with a few people they recommended it and after looking at spot rust just from sitting, I bit the bullet.

Picture one showing the cleats sandblasted and ready for paint.
Picture two shows them painted. I used a black industrial epoxy.
And a close up.
Now I hung the belting inside out and added the rivets.
I used Steel/Steel 3/16 rivets with a large buttonhead.

The last picture shows the belting turned back around.
Now do this two more times!

Put a few cleats on and spaced them periodically to get the belts lined up. Used a few C type visegrips to assist with this.

Finished up. 37 cleats x 12 rivets per cleat.
You will want a air riveter.
And the finished product!
